When the opportunity came to take over this space on Southern Boulevard, Luis saw what everyone in the neighborhood already knew — this corner deserved better. Better food. Better energy. A place that actually gives a damn.

Big Lu's is his vision: scratch-made food, ice-cold drinks, every game on the screens, and a team that treats every guest like a regular. No shortcuts. No corporate playbook. Just a guy who knows how to run a restaurant doing exactly that.

Luis Gandica isn't new to this. With years running high-volume restaurants, bars, and luxury hospitality operations across South Florida, he's built a career on one simple belief: great restaurants start with great leadership.
